What Youāll Do
As a Commercial & Startup Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:
- Business Formation & Structure: Advising startups on legal structures and incorporation.
- Contracts: Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Helping startups navigate industry regulations.
- Fundraising: Assisting with equity funding and investment agreements.
- Intellectual Property: Advising on trademarks, copyrights, and commercialisation.
- Dispute Resolution: Supporting clients with disputes and litigation.
- Business Development & Marketing:Ā Building relationships within the startup ecosystem, presenting workshops, and collaborating with the internal Marketing team to drive growth, innovation, and contribute to the firm’s success.
- Client relations: Establish and maintain Allied Legalās impeccable client relationships, and contribute to new client conversion with the support of marketing.
What Weāre Looking For
- Experience: 2ā5 years in corporate or commercial law.
- Passion: A genuine interest in working with startups and entrepreneurs.
- Empathy: Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
- Organisation: Experience managing time-sensitive files is a plus.
- Adaptability: A thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for new technologies.
- Accountability: A proactive and integral approach to your work.

- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with legal time recording software.
